Mamta Mujumdar is an Associate of the firm. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and began her career by working in clinical research at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Ms. Mujumdar pursued her interest in healthcare by working as a legal extern for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General’s Health and Human Services Section.
Ms. Mujumdar practices in healthcare law and addresses issues pertaining to healthcare fraud and abuse and compliance issues. She advised on several areas of Health Law, including but not limited to Fee-splitting, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act. Ms. Mujumdar is also knowledgeable about employer wellness programs and ensuring their compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assisted Reproductive Technology Law
In addition to healthcare law, Ms. Mujumdar advises clients on issues pertaining to assisted reproductive technology law. She provides counsel on agreements for surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, and embryo donation. Ms. Mujumdar is committed to helping individuals of all backgrounds achieve their desire in building a family, and at the same time ensuring their legal rights are protected throughout the process.
Ms. Mujumdar serves on the board secretary of Alternatives, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides programs and services for Chicago’s youth.
