Lina Collazos

Biography

Lina brings a multidisciplinary perspective to healthcare compliance, combining experience in organizational communication, marketing, psychology, business operations, and project management. She earned a degree in Organizational Communications from Florida International University. She minored in Marketing and Psychology and is trilingual in English, Spanish, and French. Lina is dedicated to helping healthcare businesses build ethical, effective, and sustainable operations while improving the experiences of the patients and communities they serve.

Before entering healthcare, Lina spent more than a decade in sales and customer service roles with Fortune 500 companies and startups, focusing on people, process, and project management. She transitioned into healthcare in late 2023 and has since developed a strong commitment to healthcare compliance, operational effectiveness, and patient-centered services.

Her work includes regulatory research, compliance policy and procedure development, compliance program implementation, training and client materials, and practical tools for auditing, monitoring, risk assessment, and project management. She also supports corporate integrity agreement implementation, accreditation and regulatory readiness, healthcare licensing matters, and efforts to strengthen organizational compliance cultures. Drawing on her communications and operational background, Lina helps translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, workable processes for healthcare leaders and team members.

Lina is a Board of Certification/Accreditation Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (CDME). Her certification supports her understanding of compliance, patient safety, quality, training, and operational expectations applicable to durable medical equipment suppliers.
